Natural Exfoliation
FAQs
The sisal body brush offers deep exfoliation, improves circulation, supports lymphatic drainage, and energises the skin. Its natural, firm bristles provide a refreshing feel and leave the skin smoother and more receptive to moisturisers.
Begin with dry skin before showering. Start at your feet, using gentle, upward strokes toward the heart, as this direction supports circulation. Use light pressure, avoiding sensitive or inflamed areas, and gradually work your way up the body.
It’s generally recommended to use a body brush 2-3 times per week. You can adjust this frequency based on your skin’s sensitivity and your individual needs.
The sisal body brush has firmer bristles, ideal for a more robust exfoliation. In contrast, the horsehair brush provides a gentler experience, which is perfect for sensitive skin or those new to dry brushing.
The sisal brush is best suited for normal to less sensitive skin types due to its firmness. If you have sensitive skin, start with light pressure or consider the gentler horsehair body brush.
Rinse the brush with warm water after each use and let it air dry. For a deeper clean, use mild soap every few weeks, then rinse thoroughly and dry in a well-ventilated area. This will help maintain the quality of the natural fibres.
